•  Head Brewer Chas, started homebrewing as a teenager when his dad’s Fathers Day gift went unused. He honed his commercial experience at BJ’s in Oxnard and Santa Barbara Brewing Co.

• Co-founder Doug, has years of homebrewing experience, multiple local beer recipe awards, and belongs to VIBE (Ventura Independent Beer Enthusiasts). Doug says, "We will be focusing on a wide variety of beer styles, from lagers to big strong ales. Many seasonal beers will only be available at the brewery, keeping things local. "

•  The brewery, located in an industrial park off Market Street, has a large tap room, seating for 70, for tasting the fresh brew. Kegs, bottles and Growlers are available for take-away. For the young groms, we have sodas.

•  The décor of the brewery is a combination surf & beer museum. Ventura/Oxnard local surf history; Morey-Pope, Campbell Bros, Walden, & William Dennis surfboards. Surf videos and movies, playing constantly on the big screen TVs. History of California Beer as well as current memorabilia is displayed.

•  "We also supply a complete line of quality Homebrew supplies and ingredients." Co-founders Denny & Keith mention, "No more long drives to pick up our homebrew ingredients!"

•  To support the efforts that Surfrider Foundation is doing at Surfer’s Point, 1% of total sales, not just profits, will be donated for this local effort.
